Can we use the kitchen or bring our own food?

Since meals are provided as part of your stay, we don’t allow guests to use our kitchen. However, a coffee room with a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and dishware is available for your use. You are welcome to store any food you bring in the coffee room, as well as to use the appliances and dishware.

What if I have less people than your minimum numbers?

We host a minimum of 18 people and a maximum of 42 people. If you have less than 18 people, you are still welcome to book your stay at Springbrooke Retreat Centre, but we will charge you for the minimum of 18.

When do you need to know our final numbers?

You can book based on your estimated numbers, however we know that numbers change when planning events. We ask for your final numbers a minimum of 5 days before your stay. 

Do you cater for people with dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can cater for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, dairy-free and gluten-free diets. We ask for a list of your group’s dietary restrictions and allergies and we adapt the menu based on the information you provide. All meals are buffet style, so for example, if you select beef burgers for your main dish for dinner, but some of your guests are vegetarian, we will provide veggie burgers to cater for those guests. There is no extra charge for this service. 

We do our best to cater for most common food preferences, but we are unable to cater for every food restriction/preference. If you have food restrictions beyond the preferences listed above, we recommend that you supplement with some of your own food. A fridge, freezer and microwave is available for your use in this case.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We generally book up at least 6 – 12 months in advance, especially for weekends. We usually have pockets of availability, so it never hurts to ask, but we recommend booking well in advance if you want to be sure to get your preferred dates.

How much is the deposit to confirm our booking?

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

Can I see the place before I book?

Yes absolutely! You can book a site tour to see the facilities. Please contact our Rentals Director to set up a date and time. Please note that drop ins are not allowed in order to respect the privacy of groups who are using the space.

Do you have wifi?

Yes! We have complimentary wifi throughout the centre.

Are there any additional costs that we can expect? 

The cost of food and accommodation is included in the price for overnight rentals. The only other things we charge for are use of the sound system, projector & screen, and firewood. GST is added on top of all charges.
